Pete has been adopted by his loving foster home!
I thought I should probably make this official, Pete will be staying at the Larry & Janice Pfile home permanently!
For those who have not yet met Pete, he is a 3.8 lb. Yorkie boy that was found as a stray running with 2 Chihuahuas in a cemetery in Scioto County. I saw him on the shelter's website and drove to Portsmouth to pull him on Oct. 25th. He was a sick little boy with an upper respiratory infection and coccidia, both of which had to be treated with antibiotics. It has taken 3 weeks to get him strong enough to have his neuter surgery & dental, which were done on Wednesday and he did super. I guess we can now be added to the growing Foster Failure 101 club........LOL
Here are a few pictures with his fur-sisters, Sasha (Maltese) and Suki (Shih Tzu). They even joined our OSU/Penn State tailgate party the other weekend. Pete is an absolute joy to have around and he has so quickly wiggled his little tail into our hearts.
