Buttons - now Bentley!!
It seems Buttons has found his forever home thanks to the help of Tami and Mary Lou.
Buttons has been adopted by George and Tina Ferriell and their teenage son, Drew, in Brookville, Indiana.
Thanks to all who helped me with making this adoption happen. Buttons has been very special to Larry & I and we are so happy he has found his forever home.............but we are definitely shedding a few tears knowing he won't be returning to us to foster.

Tami, Buttons is doing great. He is the sweetest little thing. Starting to warm up with George and Drew. He seems to be getting comfortable with his new home. He is eating good and has great potty habits. He has only barked once and that was to let me know he had to potty in the middle of the night! I have a vet appointment scheduled for next Saturday. Gave him a bath yesterday and he did so good! Took him to visit my grandparents and they loved him! Who wouldn't though right!!! I will send you some pics.
Let us know if you're in the area and want to stop and see him! Tina

Tami, Drew and George thought "Buttons" was kind of a girlie name......so Drew came up with Bentley. When I call to him or talk to him he acts like he knows what I am saying and he does respond well to Bentley!
He is (in our opinion) the perfect little dog. I don't understand why anyone would want to give him up. He is doing so well for us and I'm sure that will continue. He has been friendly with everyone he has met so far and enjoys our walks and exploring the neighborhood (in Brookville). I am looking forward to taking him to Dr. Logue for his first vet visit this coming Saturday. I will let you know how that goes.
I am sending some pictures. I will have my Mom take a picture of all 4 of us together just as soon as possible. In the meantime...I am sending some of Bentley and one of Bentley & Drew.
Stop and visit us anytime. Thank you so much, Tina

Just wanted to let you know that Bentley is doing great! He is the best little dog ever. He is very smart. Learning some commands and learning how to escape out of his crate.........we call him little Houdini!!! We went to dinner over the weekend and when we got home, he was sitting in the kitchen waiting on us (when we left he was in his crate). The only thing we could tell that he got in to was our laundry hamper. He had got some of my clothes out!! George thought that was funny!! :) He is the cutest little love bug and I am so happy we were able to adopt him.
Stop anytime and visit us!
Talk soon, Tina

Bentley is doing great. He is such a joy to have in our family. He has adjusted so well and has settled into our routines like he has been with us
his whole life. He is spoiled....and I wouldn't have it any other way! He gets lots of treats..... sometimes just cause he is so darn cute and he has lots of toys! It is so nice to come home to him everyday. Adopting him has
been one of the best decisions we have ever made. He loves to cuddle and be on our laps..... just what I always wanted!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families!
Thank you, Tina Ferriell
