The adoption donation fee for Tucker is $300
Tucker is not available for adoption yet. Tucker is heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment. The treatment takes a few months and the cost can range from $1,000 to $1,200. PPR will provide what he needs to be healthy again and then he will be available for adoption. Keep your eye on this page!
If you can help us with the extra expenses forTucker, please use the donation button below.
Let us introduce to you a special boy. His name is Tucker. He is a 2 year old Cock-a-Poo who is tan in color and weighs 18.3 lbs. He is on shy/timid side, but is a real sweet boy who likes to get up in his foster dad’s lap when it’s nap time.
Tucker came to PPR from a local shelter. His owner was charged with neglect and abuse and had to surrender their dogs. Tucker came in with one of his sisters, named Velvet, who is also on our website.
Tucker has been neutered, had shots updated, been fecal checked (results negative), and been micro-chipped. He is being treated with daily/monthly medication for his heartworm condition and we will continue to have him tested until we get a negative report. Once this occurs he will be available for adoption.
Tucker is as cute as can be. He’s on the shy side, but gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. Due to his treatment, he is crated quite a bit more than usual. We will continue to learn his personality (likes and dislikes) and provide updates. He seems to be a real sweetheart. His foster home believes that he will make a wonderful family dog.
We will keep you posted on his progress. Hopefully, we can find a furever family for him to go to right away after his treatment is completed.
