The adoption donation fee for Ginger is COMING SOON
Hi there! My name is Ginger, though it used to be Mya. My foster mother changed my name because I had such rotten luck with my previous owners and the Mya name and Mom felt like I needed a brand new start, name and all. Hence, the name Ginger stuck.
I am six years old and weigh 10 pounds. I am a good, healthy girl who has a bright outlook on a life with anyone who will love me. I love to chew on appropriate dog toys and bones. I am updated on shots and had heartworm and fecal tests administered (with negative results). I am house broken and my foster parents say I walk good on a leash.
My latest history has not been real good... I was abandoned at a gas station some months ago, then adopted by a woman who didn't want me because I cried all the time. That lady gave me to a young mother with a baby, a two year old and a large size husky who did not get along with me at all and my crying never stopped. So, this mom gave me to Puppy Pals. They got me to a vet who found that I had ear infections in both ears… no wonder I cried!
I have completed my ear infection meds and I am now a happy puppy who likes to play with the two other dogs in my foster home who are small like me. I get along with other small dogs! I tolerates cats and like to chase rabbits! We had an Australian Shepherd stay with us and we got along great together during her 4-day stay. I do well with children 10 and up - there were no problems at all when the grandchildren came to stay and I slept with a granddaughter in her bed.
My foster parents say that I am a good, loving dog who deserves a good, loving forever home. I'm looking for that FOREVER home and you may be the perfect one for me!
