UPDATE 10/5/17: Ariel is scheduled for spay on 10/9. Once that is completed, we will be doing reference checks, home visits, and will select her forever home. We are giving preference to apps with fenced-in yards and young families. Placement will most likely happen around 10/18.
Hey it’s me, Ariel. I’m a very sweet girl who presently is only 3 months old. I came into PPR from a local shelter extremely underweight and I needed lots of TLC. I came into the rescue at only 1.4 lbs and I’m 7 lbs now (as of 10/6) and still growing. We really don’t know what breed I am, as I was picked up as a stray in a field all alone. Everyone who meets me has an opinion. A few people think that I’m a “Pocket Beagle” (you can read about them online).
I’ve been told that it’s about that time where we begin to look for my forever family. My birthday is June 26, 2017 and I’ve been growing and getting stronger. It difficult to learn to be a puppy. My foster mom told me that I’m being fixed and getting more shots on October 9th. We will start focusing on a possible new family very soon.
I’m doing great on house-training. I know what going outside means. I do my thing – every time.
I love to run outside and play with my friend Petunia. My friend and I like to play tug of war with our toys. I love Milk Bones! I don’t know how to walk on a leash yet, but I can chase a ball if you don’t throw it too far!
A fenced yard is preferred. Please no toddlers – children over 8 years old for me!
I will start to attend more adoption events once I’m spayed and have more shots. However, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact my foster mom at the link below.
